I was raised on a working cattle ranch on the central coast of California. My family raised cattle and horses for 5 generations, so horses have been a part of my life form the begging. I grew up competing in rodeo at 8 yrs. old and joined the PRCA in 1996. I competed in the PRCA for 14yrs. winning many titles; Ca. circuit champion tie down roper and all-around cowboy, DNCFR Tie Down Roping Champion 2005 to name a few.

In 2009 I decided to get off the road and stay home with the family and train horses with the help of my family at the historic Word Ranch. That was my first year showing rained cow horses and what a year. At my first Snaffle Bit Futurity I made the Open Finals riding Wangling Rimanicie a 3 year old mare owned by Holy Cow performance Horses. In 2010, I won the Limited Open at the Snaffle Bit Futurity, and also placed Reserve in that class, along with placing in the Open and Intermediate Open. Now training full time I enjoy riding good horses and competing without having to live on the road.

When I am not in the saddle I enjoy the outdoors with Bo, Blake and Betty , but they are in the saddle with me most of the time.
